Do I need Excel to use these tools?
Yes — the audit tools are Excel-based (.xlsx). They work in Microsoft Excel (desktop or 365) and in most cases with Google Sheets, though some automatic calculations work best in Excel. You don't need any macros or add-ins.Are the tools updated when CQC changes its framework?
Yes. When CQC updates the Single Assessment Framework in a way that affects the criteria we cover, we update the tools. If you've purchased a tool, you'll receive the updated version at no extra cost.Can I use a tool across multiple services?
Each purchase covers use within a single registered service. If you manage multiple services or work as a compliance consultant across several providers, contact us and we'll agree a licence that works for you.
